At Pinterest, AI isn't just a feature, it's a powerful partner that augments our creativity and amplifies our impact, and we’re looking for candidates who are excited to be a part of that. To get a complete picture of your experience and abilities, we’ll explore your foundational skills and how you collaborate with AI.
Through our interview process, what matters most is that you can always explain your approach, showing us not just what you know, but how you think. You can read more about our AI interview philosophy and how we use AI in our recruiting process here.
As a Senior Product Manager for Enforcement Systems within Trust & Safety, you'll own the product strategy for the infrastructure that powers how Pinterest detects, reviews, and acts on unsafe content at scale. You'll lead the development of AI-native automation frameworks using LLMs and VLMs to transform enforcement decisioning, while ensuring every automated action accurately reflects policy intent. Partnering deeply with engineering, operations, policy, and content safety, you'll drive a platform that is expanding beyond T&S into monetization, shopping, and other domains across the company.
What you'll do:
- Own and drive the Enforcement Systems product roadmap, including enforcement actioning, fanout infrastructure, strike systems, and compliance consolidation
- Define and scale the automation strategy for enforcement decisions through the Auto-Action Framework — a domain-agnostic system designed to automate content moderation using LLMs and VLMs
- Lead cross-functional initiatives across Policy, Operations, Content Safety, and Engineering as the DRI for enforcement platform decisions
- Translate policy intent into enforceable systems, ensuring automation accuracy matches what policy teams intended before scaling
- Triage and prioritize inbound requests against roadmap commitments, balancing platform leverage with real-world operational needs
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years product management experience
- Experience in trust & safety, fraud/risk, content moderation, compliance, or a similar enforcement-oriented domain
- Demonstrated experience with large-scale systems — comfortable reasoning about pipelines, distributed infrastructure, and automation at high throughput
- Experience building or managing AI/ML-powered products (LLMs, VLMs, or similar)
- SQL proficiency — able to self-serve data investigation and analysis
- Strong cross-functional leadership — proven ability to drive decisions across engineering, operations, and policy stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication of complex technical and policy concepts
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience
