ROLE SUMMARY:

This role serves as the analytical engine for the Digital Commerce team, driving market-shaping decisions for our new GLP-1 product in the high-growth obesity management space. You will translate complex data from social listening, e-commerce platforms, online clinic operations, and patient service apps into actionable insights that fuel patient acquisition, engagement, and long-term loyalty.

You will identify unmet needs and key behavioural moments, from initial awareness to retention. The ideal candidate combines deep analytical rigor, a growth mindset, and the ability to influence in a highly regulated, consumer-oriented digital health environment.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic Insight Generation: Lead deep-dive analyses into customer behaviours across social, e-commerce, online clinics and proprietary platforms (service apps) to identify opportunities for pull-through, adherence, and loyalty in the obesity care journey.

  • Commercial & Market Analytics: Partner with Digital Marketing and E-commerce Operations to quantify business impact of campaigns, channel mix, and market performance. Develop unified metrics that bridge strategic executions with commercial outcomes.

  • Cross-Channel Synergy: Connect insights across functions to accelerate innovation delivery, correlating social sentiment with business operations.

  • Thought Leadership: Act as the internal expert on market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and emerging digital trends. Shape understanding on market motivation, stigma, and adherence triggers.

  • Measurement & Experimentation: Design and operationalize measurement frameworks for digital experiments. Track market insights and business ROI, ensuring rapid iteration based on data.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Problem-Solving & Structure: Strong capability to structure ambiguous business questions using analytical frameworks.

  • Digital Savvy in Pharma: Deep curiosity and proven experience with digital business models, especially social commerce, service solution apps, and online platforms. Familiarity with obesity/weight management patient journeys is a strong plus.

  • Proactive Innovation Mindset: Ability to explore new data sources and translate them into practical and compliant business applications.

  • Stakeholder Influence & Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to influence cross-functional leaders. Ability to present complex analysis as clear, executive-ready narratives.

  • Strategic Partnering: Proven ability to quickly build trust with commercial clients and cross-functional teams, acting as a bridge between market insights and business strategy.

Experience:

o 10+ years experience, with 7+ years in analytics, strategy consulting, or market insights roles.

o Healthcare or pharmaceutical experience highly preferred.

o Experience with social listening, e-commerce analytics, and app data strongly preferred.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree (MBA, MS, or PhD) in a quantitative discipline strongly preferred.
