In the role of FP&A Manager, you will work cross functionally to deliver insightful, actionable analytics and influential reporting packages to drive change and improve financial performance. Duties and Responsibilities:
· Reporting responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: revenue and organic growth analysis, gross margin analysis, headcount and labor analysis, operating expense analysis, foreign exchange analysis, budgeting and forecast reporting, variance analysis, external reporting (Investor Relations, MD&A), and cash flow (working capital, capital expenditure). These activities will support the daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting rhythm of key metrics and analytics.
· Drive business partnering activities for G&A functions and lead Life Science R&D segment reporting, forecasting, budgeting, global cost center operating reviews, and analysis of R&D Op Ex and Cap Ex projects to support business and finance leaders.
· Deliver impactful, accurate and on-time financial reporting.
· Provide analytical support to the company’s short-term and long-term financial models.
· Collaborate with various Finance leaders to develop a standard catalogue of financial reports and key operational metrics, delivered on a continuous basis, which drive action and deliver improved financial results.
· Identify opportunities to automate and improve reporting capabilities, processes and assist in solutions implementation.
· Drive projects to digitize our analytics and reporting capabilities as well as identifying and delivering finance simplification initiatives to simplify & streamline our financial reporting systems.
· Lead and motivate the team to meet and exceed goals. Promote a healthy and collaborative team environment. Support continuous professional development and career progression of team.
· Support ad-hoc analysis as required, including requests from the Global FP&A leader, SVP Investor Relations, and CFO.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Business Management or Economics.
· MBA in Finance must.
· 15+ years of experience in FP&A role i.e., finance or business/commercial operations experience with the team management.
· Effectively communicates with and engages all levels of the organization verbally and in writing; produces clear, understandable documentation geared for all audiences.
· Must be an analytical thinker with a strong financial mindset and the ability to solve problems proactively.
· Strong operational mindset to create standardized, repeatable financial reports and deliver them with accuracy and timeliness.
· Highly accountable and driven business professional.
· Proficient in Essbase/HFM, SAP, Power BI, Business Objects, Advance MS Office skills especially in Excel.
