About the role

  • Overview In this role you will act as the Perfect e Store Analyst. You will support the ongoing rollout of m Filterit, acting as subject matter expert and focusing on driving tool usage within our markets by leading monthly market connects, shaping training requirements & consolidating best practice/ case studies into Perfect e Store PiCOS (Picture of success). You will also own the execution to impact of Perfect e Store analytics and market tracking via m Filterit, ensuring that the Perfect e Store scorecard is truly embedded into market’s & Sector’s performance review processes to drive visibility & focus on where & how to drive Pepsi Co sales via Perfect e Store execution. You will lead the consolidation of best practice & help support markets by integrating this into Perfect e Store PiCOS – toolkits aimed at providing clear best in class recommendation to drive Pepsi Co’s digital shelf execution, and will require you to tailor content to meet the market’s different level of maturity from foundation level ‘Building the Basics’ to Gold Standard. In order to be successful you will partner with the cross-functional teams & local BU teams. This role is a key part of the wider e Comm capability community and you will support teams by leading the deployment & management of common capability development tools e.g. e Consultancy to drive further e Comm integration & help to upskill the wider business. Responsibilities Lead blueprints development of e Comm best practice via Perfect e Store PiCOS & thought connectivity to BUs, Channel Leads Be a Power User of m Filterit platform – ability to understand & interpret the data, develop best practice & drive change in BUs Review reporting & diagnostics data of platforms to identify key progress areas, problems & opportunities & provide recommendations Work closely with Merchandising teams to implement changes and recommendations. Support the deployment & usage acceleration of m Filterit via monthly market connects plus training programme development Establish a clear Perfect e Store scorecard
  • Drive improved Perfect e Store analytics & Market tracking via m Filterit (customized for SA) Help define & test what good looks like (Build Picture of Success) Work with core DX Perfect Store teams to integrate e Comm thinking into omni-channel customers Analyse & diagnose content, availability & visibility and provide recos Analyse & diagnose assortment, promotion adherence, review & rating Review reporting & diagnostics data of platforms to identify key progress areas, problems & opportunities & provide recommendations. Reporting weekly / monthly / quarterly maintenance Implementation from PDS Global Playbook(e.g. Sales Impact Model) Identify reporting needs for key users (consider both managerial and operations, inc reports scorecards etc) Qualifications Strong academic background – e.g. Bachelor’s in commerce/business administration Experience in retail / retail execution – ideally online Ability to analyse multiple data sets, draw conclusions & present clear recommendations Strong communication skills to work across multiple BUs & stakeholders Ability to work with & influence a wide range of stakeholders across e Comm internally & externally – including but not limited to: Channel leads, BU e Comm teams, e Comm marketing & external data providers Inspire others – ability to engage broad range of stakeholders both through compilation of compelling and persuasive presentations and ability to deliver Strong presentation and communication skills – skilled at building presentations to present and influence internally / externally at all levels Ability to translate data into clear actionable insights Test & learn mindset Ability to work with virtual teams across multiple geographies & timezones Proactive approach - drive online sales and customer engagement whilst taking others with you Ability to strategically frame opportunity, codify & share learnings across wide group of stakeholders Previous e Comm experience preferred Ability to handle multiple work streams simultaneously and to tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Good collaborator and influencer: Experience working with a breadth of stakeholders and peers – levels, functions Ability to extract key messages from complex data and craft a clear narrative Good commercial and operational instinct to ensure recommendations are practical and executable Well organized, self-sufficient and proactive: Best-in-class time management skills, ability to multitask, set priorities and plan Can-do, flexible attitude with resilience: Calmly able to respond to rapidly changing business priorities Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing Power BI for data visualization and business intelligence Proven experience using PowerPoint and ability to produce visually compelling presentations (i.e. beyond just operating the software) that are impactful with a senior audience Desired Hands on e Comm / design experience Experience of m Filterit or similar platform (Edge by Ascential, Data Impact etc.)
