Details: Location: Cavan (SA) Shift: AM shift Hours: Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm Based in our manufacturing site at Cavan, you will be reporting to the Maintenance Manager with the role responsible for undertaking an active role in all aspects of mechanical preventative and breakdown plant maintenance activities, as well as project implementation and improvements across the site. Responsibilities Identify, develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, utilisation of equipment and reduce down time costs to the AOP Servicing of machinery, plant and equipment and regular preventative maintenance of machinery, plant and equipment Manage the planning database and implement improvements where necessary Inspect plant, equipment and machinery to identify hazards & defects Flexibility to be on call after hours to ensure minimal downtime in production is a must Complying with company Quality, GMP, Hygiene and Food Safety policies, standards and procedures Qualifications Completed Mechanical Trade certification Restricted Electrical Licence (preferred but not essential) A strong understanding of HACCP, food processing equipment, FMCG, and/or LEAN manufacturing principles. Experience in maintenance planning and computerized maintenance management systems.
