The State Account Manager is accountable for delivering the AOP across Licensed, Impulse, and Independent channels by owning gross and net sales performance for key State-based Distributors, State accounts and new business growth across the State.

This role drives execution end to end, from customer planning to in store activation, while leveraging national marketing programs and partnering tightly with account teams, field teams, and distributor partners to maximise results.

Key Responsibilities Own end‑to‑end management of state‑based distributors and high‑value accounts, partnering with National and State Sales Managers to deliver customer strategies.

Lead promotional program planning, submission, and analysis to drive revenue growth, share gains, and cost efficiencies.

Manage forecasting, volume and accrual accuracy, and claims approval in line with financial controls and governance.

Analyse account performance to identify opportunities across range, distribution, execution, innovation, and category growth.

Lead team development and new business growth, driving AOP delivery, multi‑site commitments, and licensed channel expansion.

Qualifications About you A degree qualification in business discipline Minimum 4 years’ experience in related function in FMCG or like industry Highly analytical, with the ability to generate insights, and accompany with clear and concise action plans Strong interpersonal skills to enable working cross functionally and at different levels Advanced Excel skills.

Understanding of AC Nielsen, Circana and SAP / TM1 systems Overall business understanding of sales, operations and distribution About us Join us and work with iconic brands like Doritos, Gatorade, Pepsi Max, Smith’s Chips, Red Rock Deli, Twisties, Quaker Oats, and Bluebird NZ.
