About the role
- Overview This role is for a sensory analyst based in the Little island site responsible for preparing and analysing sensory samples for Little Island and Carrigaline Pepsi sites. Responsibilities
- Ensure the accurate and timely analysis and disposition of products in sensory laboratory in compliance with ISO17025 accreditation
- Become familiar with the material/product portfolio
- Registering QC samples in the laboratory management systems accurately
- Meticulous attention to sample data entry and preparation
- Prepare all sensory samples in a timely manner
- Ensure timely and effective issue resolution and communication
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment as required.
- Maintain all relevant records and samples in an organised system for quick and effective access to information with a particular focus on trace-ability
- Adhere to safe lab practices and GLP
- Organise the replenishment of relevant laboratory supplies
- Support issues relating to concentrate sensory quality
- Liaise with manufacturing and R&D on the smooth introduction of new products during and after scale-up.
- A requirement of this role is that all Pepsi Co Health and Safety requirements are adhered to. Qualifications Essential criteria BSc in food science, chemistry or equivalent Additional Desired qualifications and/or experience Testing experience Ability to manage a varied workload. Ability to work on own initiative, self-motivated.
