Responsibilities Job Overview: Process controllers are responsible for managing the packing machines which converts finished goods into inner and outer cartons, accurately labeling them with product details and handling instructions, inspecting for defects, ensuring compliance with shipping requirements, maintaining records and ultimately ensuring products are delivered in good condition and on time, playing a crucial role in the supply chain. Packing Finished Goods into Boxes Operating Gosammer Visual quality inspection Packed according to packing configuration Checked date coding and package seals Stack pallets and transport them with a trolley jack Ensured good housekeeping in respect of packing area Qualifications Matric Grade 12 or NQF4 Job Specific Competencies Gauge and instrumentation skills Knowledge of products and production systems Job Family Competencies Computer skills incl SAP MM & SD Knowledge of PFG’s manufacturing and logistics practices Knowledge of PFG’s quality standards Knowledge of PFG's technical practices and processes Knowledge of relevant SHE legislation Work Level Competencies Knowledge of procedures and standards Basic Problem Solving and decision-making skills Basic Interpersonal and relationship building skills Emotional Intelligence Plan and organise own work Communication skills - literate Financial awareness and skill Analytical thinking Goal orientation Information processing Team player Time management Persuasiveness Managing and valuing diversity “Pepsi Co is an Equal Opportunity Employer in line with the Employment Equity Act"
