
Global Procurement Associate Technical Buyer
About the role
Overview (English) Position Summary An industrial company is seeking a Technical Buyer to manage end‑to‑end procurement processes in the areas of maintenance, infrastructure, MRO and OPEX across multiple production sites. The role includes daily collaboration with maintenance, engineering and operations teams, leading full procurement cycles, supplier management, commercial negotiations, and purchasing of equipment, spare parts and operational services. This position is a key function supporting production activities, the technical warehouse, plant maintenance, and infrastructure and renovation projects. Responsibilities (English) Key Responsibilities Technical & Operational Procurement Manage procurement processes for equipment and services in maintenance, infrastructure, OPEX and MRO domains. Handle purchase requests and develop procurement solutions tailored to organizational needs. Purchase spare parts, maintenance equipment, technical materials and routine items for the technical warehouse across all sites. Supplier & Supply Chain Management Identify new suppliers, assess capabilities and evaluate suitability for technical and operational requirements. Obtain quotations, perform comparisons and lead supplier selection processes. Conduct commercial negotiations, manage price lists and improve terms according to targets. Create purchase orders, monitor deliveries end‑to‑end, ensure timelines are met and resolve exceptions. Contracts, Agreements & Cross‑Organizational Interfaces Establish and manage framework agreements with suppliers, including support for contractual engagements. Work closely with engineering, maintenance, operations, warehouses, finance and legal departments. Generate procurement reports and monitor purchasing activity, supplier performance and costs. Project & Infrastructure Support Support renovation and infrastructure projects across sites, including managing engagements, agreements and required insurances. Purchase machinery, machine parts and dedicated equipment according to production needs. Provide operational and project support for improving and maintaining plant infrastructure. Qualifications (English) Previous experience in technical procurement / maintenance procurement / infrastructure procurement / industrial plant purchasing. Strong technical understanding and familiarity with operational equipment, spare parts and plant systems. Experience in commercial negotiations and building/managing framework agreements. Ability to analyze quotations and understand operational cost structures. Experience working with multiple interfaces, technical warehouses and multi‑site environments. Proficiency in ERP systems and experience generating reports and performing procurement controls. Ability to work independently, strong organizational skills and service‑oriented approach.
