Job Summary:
This role drives alignment, governance, and execution across a broad portfolio of strategic initiatives. You will lead complex projects leveraging SAP BW/4HANA, SAC, BDC/Data Sphere, S/4HANA, Fiori, ECC, GCP, and other integrated platforms. You will oversee a streamlined requirements intake process and deliver audit‑ready, fully traceable solution designs. Success in this role requires deep expertise across Controllership, Tax, Treasury, and FP&A, along with the ability to build new reporting capabilities, enhance existing solutions, and quickly adopt emerging technologies. You will partner closely with Global Finance Transformation, Global Finance Operations, and cross‑functional business stakeholders to deliver high‑quality dashboards, analytics, and insights end to end.
Job Description:
Your Day to Day work:
- Architect, develop, and implement SAP SAC Planning applications to drive real-time financial modeling, forecasting, and analytics for payments, risk, and digital lending portfolios.
- Design and launch SAP BW and BW/4HANA models and reports that enable agile, regulatory-compliant financial analysis and reporting tailored to Fin Tech business needs
- Integrate SAP SAC, BW, and S/4HANA with emerging Fin Tech data sources, ensuring seamless cloud-based data pipelines for audits, transaction analytics, and customer insights.
- Automate high-volume data uploads using SAP BDC and other batch processing techniques, supporting the dynamic, large-scale data flows typical in Fin Tech environments.
- Champion SAP Cloud integration, leveraging tools such as SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Data Services, and SAP CPI for robust data ingestion from APIs and cloud platforms
- Collaborate with risk, compliance, and product teams to translate evolving financial regulations and business requirements into scalable analytics and planning solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data integrations and batch transmissions to ensure accuracy, speed, and adaptability for Fin Tech’s rapid market cycles.
- Lead continuous improvement projects in partnership with IT, finance, and data science for agile reporting and planning enhancements.
- Conduct user training and create technical documentation with a focus on Fin Tech workflows and regulatory best practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Finance, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 8+ years of hands‑on experience in finance technology, with strong expertise in enterprise reporting platforms and a proven track record delivering large‑scale transformation programs in Fin Tech or high‑growth financial services.
- Demonstrated reporting experience across Controllership, Tax, Treasury, and FP&A, supporting digital finance, payments, and analytics initiatives.
- Advanced techno‑functional knowledge of SAP reporting domains including General Ledger (P&L, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, Daily Balance, Document Activity), Accounts Payable, Group Reporting (Consolidated Financial Statements), Enterprise Planning, Asset Accounting (Posted/Simulated Depreciation), Procurement (Spend Analytics), Transfer Pricing (IC), Bank Statements, Headcount, and more.
- Deep expertise in SAP financial systems and technologies (SAP BW/4HANA/BW, SAC, HANA, ABAP, AO, BOBJ, BDC/Data Sphere) and their integrations with ECC, S/4HANA, Fiori, and SAP Sub‑Ledger.
- Experience with process modeling tools such as HP ALM, Visio, ITSM, Jira, etc.
- Proven experience leading parallel development efforts and managing release cycles.
- Experience overseeing full project lifecycles including pilot, rollout, and post‑production support.
- Experience managing multiple project teams and interconnected workstreams across PMO, IT, QA, Release Management, and Finance Operations.
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and deliver end‑to‑end complex reporting transformations, including advanced dashboards and visualizations using modern BI tools.
- Design and deploy SAP BW/4HANA and SAC models, dashboards, and reports that support agile, regulatory‑compliant financial analysis, with future alignment to SAP BDC and Data Sphere.
- Integrate SAC, BW/4HANA, and S/4HANA with emerging Fin Tech data sources to enable cloud‑based data pipelines for audits, transaction analytics, and customer insights.
- Automate high‑volume data loads using SAP ABAP, streaming technologies, and batch/interface tools (e.g., Boomi) to support large‑scale Fin Tech data flows.
- Build and enhance ECC extractors (ODP, CDS ABAP, Business Content), including BADI enhancements, ABAP development, and generic data source creation.
- Develop SAP artifacts such as complex ETLs, Eclipse‑based models, Transformations, ADSOs, Composite Providers, Calculation Views, Analytical Views, SQL procedures, table functions, SDA, and Native HANA objects.
- Perform performance tuning using HANA Studio, SQL Explain Plans, plan visualizations, and optimization techniques for large‑volume datasets.
- Deliver advanced reporting solutions using SAC, Analysis for Office, BEx/AO workbooks, mixed‑mode broadcasting, Business Objects, and SAC reporting; GCP experience is a plus.
- Provide advanced ad‑hoc reporting capabilities and train end users on reporting tools.
- Support S/4 Group Reporting and BW/4 Group Reporting, including intercompany eliminations and journal entry processes.
- Champion SAP cloud integration using SAP Cloud Connector, SAP Data Services, SAP BTP, and API‑based ingestion.
- Evaluate and recommend strategies for consolidating data warehousing systems and planning upgrade paths (BW/4HANA, SAC, etc.).
- Translate business requirements into actionable insights through strong data analysis and data mining.
- Support complex reconciliation activities (e.g., Sub‑Ledger to General Ledger) and play a key role in monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles.
- Monitor and troubleshoot batch jobs (including on‑call support), optimizing integrations for accuracy and performance.
