We offer merchants an end-to-end payments solution that provides authorization and settlement capabilities, as well as instant access to funds and payouts. We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

Job Summary:
This role supports Pay Pal’s Merchant Invoicing and Payment Links & Buttons (PLB) portfolios, leading programs that enable merchants to create, send, and accept payments seamlessly across different entry points. While Invoicing focuses on helping merchants manage and streamline their day-to-day workflows, PLB enables flexible checkout experiences across web, mobile, and partner surfaces.
You’ll work across Product, Engineering, Design, Partnerships, and Compliance to deliver initiatives that improve merchant experience and drive adoption across both portfolios. The role involves coordinating complex, multi-workstream programs, including partner integrations, API and platform capabilities, and ongoing feature expansion. You’ll also partner with teams building AI-driven capabilities to enhance invoicing and checkout experiences, helping bring these solutions into production in a scalable and compliant way.
Job Description:
Essential Responsibilities:
- Scope: The project & program responsibilities are focused on the delivery of a product or computer-based system from design to release for customers.
- Develop and manage program plans, including timelines, milestones, deliverables, and procurement activities.
- Coordinate activities across multiple projects to ensure alignment with program objectives.
- Monitor program performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Communicate program status to stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Manage program budgets and financials.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and resolve conflicts.
- Ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven track record of managing complex programs within an engineering environment.

Experience owning large, complex programs with visibility to senior leadership

Experience leading cross-functional programs across product and engineering teams

Ability to manage complex dependencies, risks, and trade-offs across multiple workstreams

Experience delivering data-driven or AI/ML-enabled product initiatives (e.g., automation, personalization, or decisioning systems)

Strong understanding of Agile development practices (Scrum, SAFe, or similar)

Experience working with platform teams such as Risk, Compliance, Identity, or Payments

Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business impact and influence stakeholders

Strong communication skills with experience engaging senior leadership

Background in payments, fintech, or large-scale platform ecosystems preferred

The base pay for this role will depend on where you work and the relevant experience and expertise you bring. The expected range of pay for this role by location is:
