Overview

The Regional Sales Director, Client Sales is responsible for the daily supervision and development of the Client Sales Team. Provide product knowledge and call feedback to develop team members. Hold self and others accountable for high-quality results. Set priorities and delegate work in conjunction with the immediate manager. Identify and analyze processes and make recommendations for the continual improvement of client-based sales team.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the daily work of Inside Sales, Client team
  • Coach associates to build client service and sales skills, and product knowledge
  • Lead on-boarding and training initiatives to engage and acclimate new team members
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical processes and product understanding
  • Conduct side-by-side coaching and call monitoring
  • Provide coverage when representatives are out of office
  • Distribute leads in the pipeline and report on results
  • Address performance issues and document courses of action for correction with manager input
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with Client Service
  • Distribute webinar leads
  • Act as the point of escalation for questions/concerns
  • Update Weekly Activity Report & observations
  • Work with Marketing and manager to develop campaigns and report results from marketing campaigns
  • Participate in the hiring process to adequately staff the team
  • Indicates essential job functions

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • 3-7+ years supervisory experience leading a high-performing sales team preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in Business Administration with a major in Marketing, Finance, or Accounting
  • Strong critical thinking, interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interface with multiple departments, multi-task, and work independently
  • Knowledge of Paycor ancillary products
  • Strong product demonstration skills
  • Proficiency in value-based selling skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Prior customer service, sales, or phone experience required
  • Strong organizational skills
