Job Summary Your Career The Senior Manager, Finance will be a critical financial partner to the Product Management and Operations teams. This role will be responsible for providing in-depth financial analysis of business trends, maintaining a robust 24-month rolling forecast, and ensuring alignment across various stakeholders including Product Management, Operations, Finance, and Sales Operations. This individual will also play a key role in unit economics and gross margin forecast for all HW products. Your Impact Product Demand Forecasting and Reporting: Lead the financial contribution to the S&OP process, ensuring financial objectives are integrated and achievable. Develop and maintain a rolling 24-month forward-looking financial forecast that accurately reflects business trends and operational plans. Partner with the Product Management team to analyze business trends, market dynamics, products ramping up/down based on lifecycle stage as well as new product roadmap impacts (cannibalization, etc.). Collaborate with the Operations Planning team to review and challenge their projections, ensuring full alignment between financial forecasts and operational models. Facilitate cross-functional alignment meetings to reconcile differences and gain consensus on forecasts with Product Management, Operations, Finance, and Sales Operations. Product Financial Analysis & Reporting: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis on new product introductions (NPIs), including unit economics, gross margin estimates, and profitability assessments. Measure NPI performance vs. product management commitments to ensure learnings are incorporated into future assumptions, teams are aware and accountable, and any downstream impacts (ie: teams who assess excess materials risk) are informed. Provide insightful analysis on key financial metrics, identifying risks and opportunities to the business. Prepare and present financial reports and dashboards to senior management, highlighting performance against forecast and strategic objectives. Develop and implement financial models to support strategic decision-making and business planning. Product Gross Margin: Lead the detailed financial planning and forecasting for the Enterprise Firewall product portfolio, with a direct focus on gross margin (GM) performance and optimization. Develop and maintain financial models to forecast Enterprise Firewall cost of goods sold (COGS), overall gross margin and the rate/mix impacts for key comparisons (year/year, qtr/qtr, vs Plan). Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Operations teams to challenge assumptions and drive strategic decisions that improve the long-term profitability of the firewall product line. Provide in-depth variance analysis on actual vs. forecasted gross margin for Enterprise Firewall products, identifying key drivers and recommending corrective actions. Strategic Partnership: Act as a trusted financial advisor to Product Management and Operations teams, offering proactive insights and recommendations. Influence business decisions by providing data-driven financial perspectives and challenging assumptions. Drive continuous improvement in forecasting methodologies and financial processes. Qualifications Your Experience Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance roles Experience supporting S&OP processes in a manufacturing or product-centric environment. Proven track record in financial forecasting, planning, and analysis. Experience with unit economics and gross margin analysis, particularly for new product introductions. Skills: Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, financial planning software). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Knowledge of ERP systems and business intelligence tools is a plus. Compensation Disclosure The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
