Job Summary Your Career Become a member of the Revenue Accounting team at Palo Alto Networks! We are seeking a highly motivated Revenue Manager who is excited to join a high growth Company. The ideal candidate must possess strong quote to cash system knowledge, have great attention to detail, and possess strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills. The candidate will be self-motivated with the ability to provide solutions for issues identified. The successful candidate is a competent individual with integrity, accountability, strong interpersonal skills, and a team player. This person will directly report to the Senior Revenue Manager and closely work and manage the other members of the Revenue team. The candidate will be responsible to perform revenue close accounting activities, develop new processes, and improve processes and procedures. The position requires a hands-on person who is flexible, solutions-oriented, and works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Your Impact - Review and approve detailed analyses, journal entries, system transactions, and account reconciliations  - Collaborate closely with cross functional teams (IT, Sales, and Technical Accounting) to ensure accurate revenue accounting and reporting - Leverage comprehensive quote to cash system and process knowledge to timely identify, quantify, and resolve issues.  - Drive operational excellence through automation and continuous process improvement - Support revenue related system implementations and system improvements - Manage team members, define goals, and provide mentorship and coaching - Manage creation of procedural documentation and training materials - Lead and assist with external audit requests, special projects, and ad hoc requests - Establish and maintain strong SOX controls Qualifications - Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA or equivalent experience strongly preferred or equivalent military experience required - 7+ years of progressive experience in revenue accounting, revenue operations, or finance in Technology or SaaS industry - Excellent technical and operational knowledge of ASC 606 - Comprehensive understanding of quote to cash process - Strong quote to cash system knowledge and experience - Experience with financial systems, SAP & RAR, BigQuery, Blackline, Tableau, and SFDC a plus - Strong analytical and problem resolution skills, ability to be agile, manage priorities, and adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced environment without losing sight of accuracy - Possess a keen eye to detail and enjoy diving deep into data - Strong self-starter who operates proactively, high attention to detail, and strong communication skills - Effective communicator with all levels of management within cross functional organizations - Project management experience is a plus Compensation Disclosure The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com-missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
