Description

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is one of the fasting growing businesses for the company. In OCI Finance, members of the Workload Health team are responsible for all aspects of cloud infrastructure financial planning, and modeling for a specific product family within the broader OCI ecosystem. We are a partner and trusted strategic adviser to the OCI Leadership team, advising on optimizing business economics while rapidly scaling.

In this role, you will be part of a team advising the OCI product and engineering organization with end-to-end P&L ownership. Team members must be able to understand both the big picture and underlying details with the ability to lead product specific projects. We are looking for an enthusiastic finance analyst with a data driven mindset, modeling capabilities and strong inter-personal skills.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Finance analyst supporting Private Cloud deals and investments.

  • Support financial modeling, analysis and reporting for new and existing Private Cloud partnerships.
  • Develop business-facing models with an emphasis on product and deal level insights.
  • Own rhythm of business activities in line with corporate and business requirements.
  • Leverage a range of datasets including bookings, consumption, costs, capacity, etc. to deliver actionable business insights.
  • Participate and contribute to broader Sales & Operations Planning to ensure deal investments happen at the right place, right time, and are the right size.
  • Influence investment decisions through detailed analysis and a keen understanding of various inputs impact on profit and margins.
  • Champion automation and cross team collaboration to allow team scale and productivity gains.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $84,500 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years finance experience. MBA a plus.
  • Strong finance acumen and analytical skills.
  • Ability to multi-task with outstanding attention to detail.
  • Proven track record of high performance and driving improvements within business environment.
  • Experience with financial systems, core business processes.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders to ensure business needs and goals are met.
  • Excellent inter-personal communication skills and a self-starter mindset.
