What You’ll Own:

  • Unified Build Architectures: Design and implement modular, reusable build stages that
    define how all code at Okta is tested, secured, and packaged.
  • Systems Innovation: Solve deep scaling bottlenecks (e.g., Monorepo segmentation,
    dependency resolution) to accelerate thousands of developers.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Own the delivery of highly available build agents and artifact
    registries using Golang, Terraform, and AWS.
  • Engineering Excellence: Champion "Build-it-once" philosophies, creating self-healing
    systems that reduce operational toil and eliminate reactive support.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience: 6+ years in Platform or Infrastructure Engineering, specifically building
    large-scale CI/Build Platform.
  • Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Golang for tooling and Terraform for infrastructure
    orchestration.
  • Containerization: Mastery of Kubernetes (K8s) and container primitives for build
    execution.
  • Scale Mindset: A proven track record of investigating distributed system failures and
    delivering performant solutions at scale.
  • Ownership: You don’t just write code; you own the reliability, cost-efficiency, and
    security guardrails of the entire ecosystem.
