Semiconductor Maintenance Technician – CMP Rebuild/PM Machinist at NXP Semiconductors
About the role
The candidate(s) selected will be responsible for performing tool recoveries, cleaning and rebuilding of heads, and consumable changes identified as Preventative Maintenance and support for the CHD FAB CMP maintenance team. The technician will be responsible for these activities primarily on the toolsets below:

AMAT Mirra Mesa 200mm
AMAT Mirra 200mm
Ontrak DSS-200 (Classic, Synergy, CE)
The tasks include, but are not limited to, troubleshooting and repair of electrical and electronic systems, pneumatic, vacuum, and mechanical systems, scheduled maintenance, consumable changes, and various other activities relevant to the success of fab functional areas. The desired candidate should have a solid understanding of 5s and demonstrate problem solving skills. The position requires the ability to interface with other internal and external groups to ensure all safety, performance, and reliability requirements are satisfied. The desired candidate will be required to complete documentation and may train others on related tasks.
The candidate should be self-driven and capable of working independently for extended periods of time, focusing on quality and efficiency, in order to achieve First Time Right and Duration goals for PM completion.
The desired candidate will be required to effectively communicate using written and verbal skills, stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours), and be physically able to perform required tasks which may include stooping, crawling in confined spaces, and lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds.
The position requires working a M-F day shift role.
Education and Skills:
AA, AS, AAS, or education progress in electronics, chemistry, mechanical, or industrial engineering related discipline is preferred. Education along with experience or military training may satisfy formal education requirements.
