Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Corporate Forecasting Manager to lead and optimize our enterprise-wide forecasting process using Oracle EPM Planning. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of finance, technology, and data science—bringing together deep forecasting expertise, hands-on coding skills, and advanced machine learning capabilities to drive smarter, faster, and more accurate planning decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the corporate forecasting process using Oracle EPM Planning, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strategic alignment.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable EPM models to support dynamic planning, scenario analysis, and rolling forecasts.
- Develop and deploy machine learning models to improve forecast accuracy, detect anomalies, and generate predictive insights.
- Automate data flows and system integrations between Oracle EPM and other enterprise platforms using SQL, Python, and related technologies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to gather requirements, validate assumptions, and ensure model integrity.
- Continuously monitor and enhance forecasting performance through KPI tracking, variance analysis, and process optimization.
- Train and mentor finance teams on EPM tools, forecasting methodologies, and best practices.
- Optimize application performance for data loads, aggregations, calculations, and retrievals.
- Develop and maintain custom business rules, calculation scripts, forms, outlines, load rules, and batch scripts to support budgeting and forecasting needs.
- Manage and monitor Oracle load processes, including ad hoc requests and scheduled nightly loads, ensuring data integrity and timely issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with SOX, internal policies, and change control protocols.
- Implement and maintain narrative reporting and centralized financial reports for executive and operational use.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in FP&A or financial systems management, with full lifecycle implementation experience in Oracle EPM Planning.
- Strong programming skills in calculation manager scripts, groovy, and/or SQL
- Proven experience in machine learning model development for forecasting and predictive analytics.
- Deep understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting principles.
- Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and develop others in Oracle EPM tools and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to define issues and recommend solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to drive collaboration across diverse teams and influence decision-making.
- Hands-on experience with the full suite of Oracle Cloud EPM products.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle EPM certification or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Experience with REST API integrations and cloud-based data architecture.
