Within R&D IT, the PRTM (Product Requirements & Test Management) team delivers and supports best‑in‑class solutions that enable NXP’s global R&D community to manage requirements and testing at scale.
Our platforms — including tools such as IBM ELM/DOORS and Polarion — are used daily by more than 12,000 engineers across the globe to develop cutting-edge semiconductor and system solutions.
As the Product Manager for PRTM, you will own the vision, strategy, and roadmap of these mission‑critical platforms. In this role, you will lead a talented team, collaborate closely with business stakeholders, guide technical direction, and drive continuous innovation in how NXP manages product development lifecycle data. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with proven experience managing enterprise IT solutions, leading teams, and engaging globally distributed stakeholders and vendors.

- Lead and grow the PRTM team through hiring, coaching, performance management, and skill development; foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Guide technical decision-making by promoting modern engineering practices, evaluating architectural options, and enabling Proofs of Concept (Po Cs).
- Oversee product finances, including budgeting, forecasting, cost optimization, and ROI-based investment decisions.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, including contract negotiations, license management, performance reviews, and issue escalation.
