Job Summary:

As an SCO - OSAT Factory Planner at NXP Semiconductors Malaysia, you will be responsible for optimizing the production schedule and material flow within our Outsource Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) factories. This role ensures efficient and timely delivery of products by balancing capacity, demand, and inventory.

• Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive production plans for assigned OSAT factories, aligning with global supply chain strategies and customer demands.

• Analyze demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and material availability to create optimized build plans and commit schedules.

• Collaborate closely with OSAT partners to monitor production progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and proactively implement recovery plans.

• Manage and track inventory levels at OSATs, ensuring optimal stock levels to support production while minimizing excess and obsolescence.

• Work cross-functionally with internal teams including Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), Procurement, Engineering, and Logistics to resolve supply chain issues and improve overall efficiency.

• Utilize advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP, IEMDM, etc.) to generate, monitor, and adjust production schedules.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the OSAT planning process, identifying opportunities for cost reduction, lead time reduction, and service level enhancement.

• Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, forecast accuracy, and inventory health to management.

• Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in production planning, factory planning, or supply chain management within the semiconductor industry, preferably with OSAT exposure.

• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, particularly assembly and test operations.

• Proficiency in advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
