About the role

NVIDIA is seeking to hire an experienced ASIC verification engineer to verify the design and implementation of the world’s leading SoC's and CPU's. This position offers the opportunity to have real impact in a dynamic, technology-focused company impacting product lines ranging from consumer graphics to self-driving cars and the growing field of artificial intelligence. What you’ll be doing:

  • Define the verification scope, develop the verification infrastructure and verify the correctness of the design at cluster and full chip level across multiple projects.

  • You will work alongside brilliant engineers on state of the art processor technologies and verification infra

  • Work with architects, RTL designers, FPGA, emulation engineers to ensure that verification requirements are met for each project.

  • You will be involved with post-silicon bring-up, verification and debug

What we need to see:

  • Exposure to verification tools (VCS or equivalent simulation tools, debug tools like Debussy, GDB) desirable

  • System Verilog, UVM, System C. experience desirable

  • C/C++ programming, Perl/Python scripting language experience desirable

  • Good debugging and problem solving skills.

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability & desire to work as a team player are a must

  • Strong knowledge on basic concepts of CPU or SoC architecture and verification architecture

  • Experience with verification infrastructure of So Cs with embedded processors or CPU is desirable.

  • BS / MS with 2+ years of experience

  • You have worked on various pieces of the verification pipeline breadthwise

  • In-depth understanding of Verification TB architecture.

  • Experience of collaborating with geographically diverse cross-functional teams

  • Ability to identify and handle hard-to-solve problems in verification and programming.
