Manager, Product Development Engineering
We are now looking for a Datacenter Product Development Engineering Leader! NVIDIA Corporation is a world leader in visual computing technology. Collaborating with your peers across various engineering groups, you will successfully launch new NVIDIA AI Supercomputing Platforms to production. These purpose-built systems bring together the full power of NVIDIA GPUs, NVIDIA NVLink and NVIDIA Infin Band networking. With its end-to-end performance and flexibility, NVIDIA HGX and DGX enables researchers and scientists to combine simulation, data analytics, and AI to drive scientific progress. This product family represents the company’s fastest growing line of business as well as its largest total available market opportunity. We are looking for an engineering and product development leader to drive key aspects of the product engineering operations and technology for the enterprise and datacenter platforms who will bring deep knowledge and experience in GPU and/or CPU development, microarchitecture, design, architecture, as well as key technologies such as high-speed interconnects, memories (HBM, GDDR, etc.), system reliability, and server RAS features.
Whatyou’llbedoing:

In this capacity you will eventually own a product or series of products end-to-end through the entire product lifecycle; your role would be to ensure successful production ramps are achieved working through a large matrixed team. This position could be a manager or an individual contributor role.

You'll be able to architect the test methodology for enterprise platform manufacturing tests; refine, revise and overhaul test and manufacturing flows; influence and drive software tools/infrastructure required for new product development, validation, and productization.

Opportunity to work closely with architecture, hardware, software and product engineering teams through the product development lifecycle.

Be ready to be challenged to assess new hardware features and architect manufacturing diagnostic tests using pre-beta CUDA and OpenGL extensions.

You'll cultivate a deep understanding of NVIDIA's hardware and software architecture.
Whatweneedtosee:

Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience
-
5+ years experience as a people manager
-
10+ overall years experience with enterprise platforms, high speed interconnects, memories, board development concepts, operations and program management

Strong engineering and/or program/project management background

Track record of successfully leading complex projects with geographically diverse and large teams.

Proven self-initiative, interpersonal skills, and flexibility to adapt to new technology.

Strong problem solving and debugging expertise; track record of institutionalizing root-cause analysis.

Deep expertise in software and hardware development.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 200,000 USD - 322,000 USD for Level 3, and 240,000 USD - 379,500 USD for Level 4.
You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
