Our Shanghai team is looking for a Robotics Software Engineering Manager to lead sim-first development, real-world deployment, and continuous learning, ensuring our robots become smarter over time. What you'll be doing:

Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of robotics software engineers.

Drive the definition, planning, and execution of projects involving real-world deployment of learned policies on complex robots.

Engage in hands-on development, implementation, and deployment of real-time software stacks.
-
Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration, supporting work such as prototypes, open-source software releases, patents, and publications.
-
Collaborate with product, hardware, and software teams to translate engineering work into impactful products.
-
Support career development, performance management, and recruitment of top talent.
What we need to see:
-
PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
-
7+ overall years of experience in robotics and deep learning technologies.
-
More than 4 years of experience leading technical teams or managing groups in robotics, autonomous driving, machine learning, or related fields.
-
Strong hands-on programming skills in Python and C++.
-
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
-
Advanced knowledge in robot learning, including imitation or reinforcement learning, and robot perception.

Experience with robot simulation tools.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:

Experience with deep learning frameworks (Py Torch, JAX, Tensor Flow) and physics simulation tools (Isaac Sim).

Hands-on experience with robotics simulation, sim-to-real, and real-to-sim transfer.
