What You’ll Be Doing:

Lead a multidisciplinary team of 15+, including mechanical design engineers, draftsmen, mechanical librarians, and lab technicians.

Own all sustain engineering activities, including HW bug resolution and ongoing product support.

Drive task forces to investigate and resolve production issues, reliability challenges, and failure analyses.
-
Support design teams and take an active part in hands‑on design work.
-
Lead the inspection and approval process for second‑site and second‑source parts and components.
-
Own and continuously improve mechanical department methodologies and working procedures.
-
Maintain and support the CAD & PLM systems, ensuring best practices and efficient workflows.
-
Manage and mentor the draftsman team and technicians operating the Mechanical Lab & Workshop.
What We Need to See:
-
B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or higher.
-
8+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3+ years managing engineering teams in an R&D environment.

Proven expertise in mechanical engineering processes.
-
Hands‑on experience with electromechanical packaging, PCB/PCBA design, liquid‑cooled systems, and sheet metal design.

Strong proficiency with 3D CAD tools (Creo preferred).
-
Solid background in designing components and systems for high‑volume manufacturing (sheet metal, stamping, injection molding).
-
High awareness of quality, manufacturability, and robust production principles.
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hebrew.

Proven experience collaborating with OEMs/ODMs and drafting Statements of Work.

Background in global enterprise telecommunications organizations.

Experience developing and implementing new design methodologies.

Wide understanding of AI tools related to mechanical design and design debug.
