We are looking for a passionate data center manufacturing cost expert! The CEM business and Quotation Program Manager plays a critical role in ensuring our company producing the most cost competitive meanwhile high-performance products to the customers and consumers all over the world.
In this role, you will need to work with cross-function teams to manage the BOM and manufacturing cost of board, system and server products which are correctly following the defined cost models as well as driving potential cost saving opportunities with Ops-Engineering and CEMs through the creative ideas on manufacturing processes optimization. Drive cost digitalization to a high level to support the whole Supply Chain Organization digitalization transformation successes.
What you'll be doing:
- Handle timely and accurate CEM product cost quotation review, tracking and system uploading in order to drive CEM cost visibility and PO price availability
- Conduct new product RFQ with CEM, drive and work closely with cross-function teams (e.g. Global Commodity Management, Ops Engineering team) on BOM cost, manufacturing process/cost, NRE & etc. verification
- Be the focal point of any CEM cost-related issues on the assigned products, drive the resolution of issues impacting cost quotation delta or any dispute in operation execution
- Set up and maintain cost models to cover all types of CEM cost, drive cost analysis and cost predictability to support high-level decisions and investment POR
- Negotiate with CEM on the labor, MOH and other non-material cost rates and drive the alignment on corresponding CEM Service level agreement
- Constantly drive CEM performance improvement on quotation accuracy, on time availability and cost saving initiatives related KPIs
- Drive digitalization on quotation and cost management processes through RPA or AI tools.
What we need to see:
- Bachelor’s degree or above, with at least 5 years of experience in cost or related program management in Data Center manufacturing, preferably in a high-tech or computer-related industry; Any supply chain management background is also a plus
- Excellent data modeling and analytical skills, Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. VBA, SQL, Power BI or similar data visualization tools or any RPA program development skills/experience is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills, willing to take the leadership to work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and any un-precedented challenges
- Be able to be flexible and willing to work under high pressure environment and adaptive in a rapidly changing situation by constantly learning/absorbing new things and turn ourselves to be a better version
- Strong interpersonal skills in both verbal & written English including the ability to present to management required
