Our work at NVIDIA is dedicated towards a computing model passionate about visual and AI computing. For two decades, NVIDIA has pioneered visual computing, the art and science of computer graphics, with our invention of the GPU. The GPU has also shown to be spectacularly effective at solving some of the most sophisticated problems in computer science. Today, NVIDIA’s GPU simulates human intelligence, running deep learning algorithms and acting as the brain of computers, robots and self-driving cars that can perceive and understand the world. We’re seeking a SOC Methodologies designer with shown hardware design and methodology expertise to join our outstanding team to amplify human creativity and intelligence.
What you'll be doing:

Develop and deploy in-house tools and workflows to support engineering business units across NVIDIA.

Take ownership of tools that generate common design blocks used in all products, such as auxiliary RTL logic for design-for-test, safety/resiliency, and power-saving logic.

Act as a "DevOps" engineer for RTL automation by developing new features and maintaining efficient operations for existing users.

Collaborate with front-end RTL designers and back-end library engineers to provide daily technical support.

Build new workflows and methodologies to ensure smooth integration into various IP development environments.
What we need to see:
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field (or equivalent experience).

Minimum 2 years relevant working experience.

Understanding of fundamental digital design concepts and experience in Verilog.
-
Proficient in software engineering, including Python scripting.
-
Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting and Makefiles.
-
Ability to collaborate with many groups and communicate technical details.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
-
Experience in verification is a plus.
-
Background with memory circuit design is a plus.
-
Experience with Perl scripting is a plus.
