Senior AI Networking Software Engineer
Our Network Codesign & Benchmarking R&D Group is looking to hire a skilled senior engineer interested in researching and developing solutions for the most pressing networking challenges of the world's fastest AI and HPC supercomputers. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for investigating, crafting, and implementing new protocols and algorithms that enable the best performance possible on NVIDIA networked supercomputers. This role offers you an excellent opportunity to deliver production-grade solutions, get hands-on with ground-breaking technology, and work closely with top technical leaders in shaping and innovating next-generation networking technologies.
What you'll be doing:
The team is responsible for developing high-performance communication frameworks running in the production of the largest AI clusters. The work environment is dynamic and adventurous; we are innovating and inventing software products at the forefront of technology in terms of performance, scalability, and features. In addition, our team works closely with networking chip design teams in co-designing new hardware features and software APIs.
What we need to see:

B.Sc., M.Sc. or Ph.D. in computer science or software engineering

5+ years of relevant experience
-
Programming experience and proficiency in Python, System C/C++ development skills and familiar with Linux developing environment.

Experience in performance optimizations
-
Demonstrated use of creative ideas, providing solutions to challenging problems.

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability & desire to work as a great teammate.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:

Deep knowledge of Networking Protocols Infini Band, Ethernet
-
Knowledge in MPI and High-performance computing
-
Background in RDMA technology

Experience in kernel programming & in working with AI Models, Pytorch or equivalent

Open Source Software Contributor as well as an expert in computer architecture and operating systems
