The Networking Application Engineering team is seeking an experienced manager with a strong technical networking background to enable the next generation of AI and high-performance computing. As an Application Engineering Manager, you will have a direct impact on the business, working closely with our customers and global R&D teams.
What you’ll be doing

Mentor new team members and enable existing team members to thrive.

Support new AI fabric technologies based on NVIDIA networking solutions.

Gain our customers’ trust, understand their needs, and translate them into technical actions and priorities.

Work closely with multiple R&D teams from broad disciplines.
-
Drive cooperation and alignment between AE, R&D, sales, business, and operations.
-
Solve complex, highly visible customer issues across HW, FW, system and lead them to closure.

Provide clear, constructive feedback to engineering and product/marketing on product requirements and quality.

Own and improve methodologies, best practices, and debug flows used across the team.
What we need to see
-
BSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent; MSc is an advantage or equivalent experience.

10+ overall years of experience in networking, FW PHY, Ser Des, or system-level development / application engineering
-
4+ years of team management experience
-
Proven technical leadership and people management experience (team lead or manager).
-
Strong understanding of high-speed networking, Ethernet, Infini Band, NVlink and PCIe and system bring-up.
-
Experience working directly with customers, OEMs/ODMs, or large-scale deployments.
-
High-level communication and presentation skills, including the ability to present to executives and customers.
-
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset in a multi-site, multicultural environment.
-
Proven record of leading critical customer escalations to successful resolution.
Ways to stand out from the crowd
-
Experience with NVIDIA networking products (Spectrum switches, Blue Field DPUs, ConnectX adapters).

Hands-on work with transceivers, cables, and high-speed signal integrity.

Firmware development experience in a networking or semiconductor company.
-
Knowledge of networking protocols, scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.), and deep problem-solving in complex systems.

Demonstrated ability to build and scale application engineering or field teams and improve processes.
