NVIDIA is seeking an outstanding Solutions Architect for Physical AI to assist and support customers building robotics and Physical AI solutions on NVIDIA’s accelerated computing platforms. In this customer-facing role, you’ll become a trusted technical advisor, guiding architecture, hands-on prototyping, troubleshooting, and enablement across robotics deployments that span simulation → training → deployment
This role is ideal for someone who is robotics-first, with applied AI (computer vision , GenAI) skills to help customers move from PoC to Production.
What you will be doing:
-
Lead customer architecture and enablement for industrial robotics and automation across manufacturing, automotive, and intralogistics.
-
Design and troubleshoot robot workflows (arms + mobile robots), covering controllers, I/O, safety, timing, and full cell behavior.
-
Guide integration across ROS 2, AI, and vision based workflows, including perception, planning, control, VLM pipelines, and GenAI/LLM‑based robotics workflows.
-
Support feasibility, optimization, and virtual commissioning, including PLC/HMI integration, signal/state modeling, motion planning, and cycle‑time analysis.
-
Advise on data, model development, and deployment, including dataset quality, metrics, failure analysis, and performance tuning on NVIDIA platforms.
-
Enable simulation, digital twins, and synthetic data workflows using OpenUSD, Isaac Sim/Lab, and GPU infrastructure for training and validation.
-
Lead customer architecture, RFP responses, and SOW definition for industrial robotics and automation across manufacturing, retail and intralogistics.
What we need to see:
-
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
-
Strong hands-on robotics/automation experience with industrial robots and real-world deployment constraints.
-
5+ years of Practical experience with ROS 2 and integrating robotics software with physical hardware.
-
Strong foundation in applied AI for robotics, including computer vision; familiarity with LLMs/VLMs and how they integrate into product workflows.
-
Ability to engage directly with customer engineering teams: requirements discovery, architecture, debugging, and technical leadership.
-
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), including the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with global product/engineering teams.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
-
Background with PLC/HMI integration concepts (e.g., Siemens/Rockwell fundamentals), controls-in-loop, or commissioning-grade validation.
-
Experience with NVIDIA edge/robotics stacks such as Jetson / Jet Pack / Isaac ROS/ Gr00T, and deploying perception/planning pipelines on embedded systems.
-
Experience with 3D workflows relevant to robotics simulation (CAD ingestion/cleanup, coordinate frames, collision meshes) and familiarity with OpenUSD concepts, IsaacSIM and NVIDIA Omniverse.
-
Strong troubleshooting skills across multidisciplinary systems (mechanical + electrical + software), plus disciplined root-cause analysis.
NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers. If you’re creative, deeply technical, and motivated to help customers bring robotics and Physical AI into the real world, we want to hear from you.
