This full-time Account Manager position will focus on top research universities and institutes in the West developing the relationships and driving revenue. This role requires a strong knowledge of the Higher Education and Research (HER) business landscape. This is an outstanding opportunity to operate at the intersection of science and computational technology, driving the adoption of NVIDIA's platform to address some of the greatest challenges. You will be instrumental in empowering researchers across diverse domains where innovation happens daily.

What You'll Be Doing:

Responsible for all aspects of account strategy creation and implementation, forecasting, sales account management, research engagement to a select number of large university customers in the territory

Be the key point of contact and relationship owner for a defined set of university customers

Build key accounts into strategic partners, and drive sustaining revenue, market share growth and product footprint

Serve as a trusted advisor to universities, communicating NVIDIA's vision, technology, and research impact. Develop relationships with senior university leaders to align NVIDIA's platform with institutional research priorities and drive large-scale adoption.

Forge strong connections with leading research labs and Principal Investigators across diverse scientific domains (e.g., AI/ML, life sciences, physical sciences, climate science, engineering, etc). Understand their grand challenges and explore how NVIDIA's platform and expertise can accelerate their discovery process and scientific outcomes.

Contributing to the long-term success of the Higher Education and Research (HER) vertical by being a collaborative leader amongst your peers

Maintain a strong understanding of the evolving HER landscape, scientific trends in key domains, and the capabilities of NVIDIA's full technology stack

Ability to travel 20% or more as needed
What We Need to See:

BS degree, or equivalent experience, and a demonstrated commitment to lifelong learning

12+ years experience selling to senior executives, research principal investigators and IT at leading research universities

A genuine passion for science, technology, and the mission of accelerating research

High energy, self-motivation, and ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving environment

Existing relationships in the target Universities

A real passion for getting things done in a dynamic sales and technology environment

Demonstrated track record leading significant revenue opportunities and overachieving targets to meet stretch goals

Demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership, think strategically and effectively communicate vision (both written and verbal) and influence cross-functionally

Strong communication, presentation and business acumen

Your cash compensation will be determined based on your location, experience and the pay of employees in similar positions with 85% paid through base salary and 15% variable compensation. The cash compensation range is 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD.
You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
