Senior Director, Global Workplace Strategy, Planning and Design at NVIDIA
About the role
We are looking for a strategic and collaborative leader to join RESS (Real Estate & Site Services) as Sr. Director, Global Workplace Strategy, Planning & Design. You will guide a multidisciplinary, distributed team to build NVIDIA’s global workplace brand. You will own the complete workplace strategy, solutions, planning, and future-of-work initiatives—from small updates to iconic buildings. You will ensure space, technology, culture, operations, and sustainability align across all regions.
What you will be doing:
-
Serve as visible executive leader and workplace brand steward for NVIDIA, influencing cross‑departmental collaborators and partnering with RESS regional leads to develop and lead workplace vision from strategy through delivery.
-
Own and implement global workplace strategy and occupancy planning, defining ways‑of‑working models, typologies, standards and rollout plans that enable high‑performing, compliant work environments.
-
Build and maintain a business‑partnering framework to engage key business units, capture demand signals and convert operational needs into practical planning inputs for portfolio decisions.
-
Synthesize business intelligence and workforce planning to inform portfolio planning, long‑term capacity decisions, and prioritization of projects.
-
Establish and lead Workplace Analytics & Research to generate actionable insights on space utilization, employee behavior and workplace efficiency; define performance metrics and evaluation frameworks for continuous improvement.
-
Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting (including Omniverse visualization integration) to provide leadership and team members with clear access to workplace performance, adoption trends and emerging demand patterns.
-
Lead an internal design team delivering ~50 concurrent projects (refreshes, relocations, expansions, data center workplaces, small mods), ensuring consistency with global brand standards and local regulatory/cultural adaptations.
-
Manage strategic partnerships with global architecture partners and coordinate interior programming and standards with RESS project teams and internal functions (Finance, IT, Security, Legal); prototype, pilot and scale future‑of‑work innovations, furniture systems, materials and technologies.
What we need to see:
-
20+ overall years of experience in architecture, workplace build, workplace experience or related fields with demonstrated leadership of large, complex global workplace programs; 10+ years leading teams.
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
-
Executive presence and proven ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional collaborators.
-
Demonstrated experience with workplace data-driven strategy, workplace technologies (room booking, sensors, VR/Omniverse), and change management.
-
Strong analytical, communication, presentation, negotiation, and customer-relationship skills.
-
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, global environment across multiple time zones.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
-
Proven track record delivering portfolio-level workplace transformation across geographies.
-
Deep knowledge of hybrid work models, workplace innovations, and technology-enabled solutions.
-
Experience embedding sustainability, wellbeing, and inclusive build into global programs.
-
History of encouraging cross-organizational change and scaling new ways of working worldwide.
