We are looking for you to join our team as a Sr. Principal Cyber Systems Administrator based out of San Antonio, TX.

Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support (Domain Administration, System Administration, and Network Administration).

Monitor and maintain smooth operation of computer systems, applications and user experience.

Basic Qualifications for:

Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of related relevant experience; Master’s degree with 6 year of related relevant experience; PhD with 4 year of related relevant experience. Will consider 9 years of applied experience in lieu of degree requirement

U.S. Citizenship required.

A current/active DoD Top Secret w/ SCI eligibility.
-
A current DoD 8570 Certification for IAT Level II or higher prior to start date (example: Security+ CE)
-
Manage systems infrastructure and related processes, performing day‑to‑day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all supported devices (including mobile)
-
Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) support – identification, diagnosis, and resolution
-
Configure and manage Windows and Linux OS (install, patch, tune, and troubleshoot) as well as virtualized environments, virtual networking, and storage solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience working with on-premise environments (physical servers, storage arrays, networking gear).
-
Administration of VMware virtualization platforms – v Center/ESXi, virtual networking, storage provisioning, and troubleshooting of virtual machines and workstations
-
Experience with desktop-virtualization technologies such as Horizon, Dell Wyse Management, or Teradici
-
Experience with multiple Linux distributions (e.g., Ubunti, Red Hat, CentOS) and command line troubleshooting.
-
Administration of Windows and Windows Server core services to include: Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, LDAP, MS Exchange, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), SQL Server, WSUS, and related patch-management processes.

Knowledge of routing protocols, VLANs, and layer 2/3 switch configuration.
-
Functional familiarity with Cisco networking equipment and/or VMware NSX technologies.
-
Practical experience with enterprise storage solutions such as Net App or Synology.
-
Ability to implement, maintain, and test backup/recovery solutions using VEEAM or comparable tools.
-
Use and maintenance or monitoring/log-aggregation platforms such as ELK, Solar Winds, or VMware Aria.
-
Administration of Atlassian suite: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo for ticketing, documentation, source control, and CI/CD pipelines.

Desire and aptitude to learn new technologies, develop skills, enhance troubleshooting capabilities.

Primary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
