This leadership role is located in Roy, Utah.
This is a leadership position with executive interactions internally and externally, and the successful candidate must display consistent impeccable judgment and embody Northrop Grumman Value and Leadership behaviors. The successful candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels of customer and executive leadership and should be able to coordinate geographically dispersed teams.
What You Will Get To Do:

Set a Vision: Develop and communicate a clear vision for shaping, growing, and enabling the Test & Training Infrastructure IPT to meet and exceed its obligations.

**Build a High Performing Team: Partner with Functional leadership to build, maintain, and implement mentoring, succession, and development plans. Develop and execute staffing plans that achieve financial and programmatic strategic goals.

Take Ownership: *Drive execution across a diverse, multidisciplinary team, meeting cost, schedule, and technical performance metrics. Communicate progress, challenges, and plans with clarity and conciseness.*Lead with Courage: Instill a culture of empowerment and accountability that enables the team to efficiently meet or exceed obligations. Build strong partnering relationships with customers, industry partners, and internal organizations and proliferate this partnership across the Test & Training Infrastructure IPT.

Respond to Challenges with Resilience: Perform proactive risk and opportunity management. Leverage strong partnerships to navigate setbacks and implement recovery plans that maintain forward momentum.

**Act with Speed: Leverage leaders within the Test & Training Infrastructure IPT to make timely and credible decisions while performing advocacy across a broad stakeholder community to ensure buy-in and mitigate delays. Implement process improvements and strategic initiatives where necessary to maintain and increase execution velocity.

    This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
    This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
    You Will Bring These Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree with at least 10 years of applicable experience, or Master's and 8 years' of experience.

Experience leading people and managing cost, schedule, and/or technical performance

3+ years experience in program management on development programs

Active DoD Secret clearance, investigation must have been completed within last 5 years.

These Qualifications Are Nice To Have:

Construction, facilities, or other infrastructure experience

Prior experience interfacing with prime contractor site leads and DoD leadership personnel

Active DoD TS/SCI clearance

Experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team or control account manager

Demonstrated effectiveness in achieving results through managing people and understanding and management of internal processes and customer/supplier relationships.

Strong understanding and broad application of complex engineering systems (engineering standards, configuration management, material review board, process control, tooling, facilities, hardware, etc.)

Strong oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated experience with high value customer presentations, with ability to focus on multiple projects with competing priorities

Experience in working closely with customers to ensure delivery of systems that meet warfighter needs

Ability to collaborate and achieve consensus when dealing with groups from diverse organizations and backgrounds

Demonstrated experience in making sound decisions in uncertain and difficult situations

  • Strong sense of urgency and work ethic in ensuring engineering meets customer and program expectations in a timely and efficient manner

Primary Level Salary Range: $193,800.00 - $290,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
