Northrop Grumman is seeking a **Principal Facilities Engineer or a Senior Principal Facilities Engineer Level 3/4 **to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The position is located in Clearfield, UT.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Will schedule contractors and give provide SOW.
• Will take ownership of equipment - writing PM plans, responsible for critical spare parts
• Annual E-FMEA on assigned equipment.
• Strong organizational skills in managing time, projects, and resources.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill being that this position is cross functional and engages other team members.
• Responsible for communication for machine downtime.
• Support operations IPT.

This position may be filled as either a level 3 or level 4 depending on qualification below:

Basic Qualifications:

Principal Facilities Engineer Level 3:

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) with 5 years of Engineering experience in the following engineering fields: Power Systems, Power, Electrical, Industrial, Construction, Mechanical Design, Engineering, Design, Facilities, Operations, Aerospace, Control OR Master’s degree with 3 years of experience in mentioned fields OR PhD in STEM with 1 year of experience in mentioned fields.
• Experience supporting manufacturing facilities.
• Knowledge and ability to use Lean Manufacturing tools
• Applied knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access.

Sr. Principal Facilities Engineer Level 4:

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) with 8 years of Engineering experience in the following engineering fields: Power Systems, Power, Electrical, Industrial, Construction, Mechanical Design, Engineering, Design, Facilities, Operations, Aerospace, Control OR Master’s degree with 6 years of experience in mentioned fields OR PhD in STEM with 4 years of experience in mentioned fields.
• Experience supporting manufacturing facilities.
• Knowledge and ability to use Lean Manufacturing tools
• Troubleshooting industrial equipment for Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, PLC, Drives etc.… failures.
• Demonstrate Root Cause Corrective Action, 5 Why and 8-Disciplines problem solving method
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Do

D Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of the NEC and NFPA 70E
• Revit and AutoCAD drafting experience.
• Experience designing and commissioning power distribution systems.
• Must be able to maintain one line drawing for multiple buildings.
• Experience supporting manufacturing facilities.
• Interpret building and utility drawings and make the revisions as required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Utah Code and Regulatory requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills in managing time, projects, and resources.
• Applied knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project)
• Ability to design security systems to the ICD705 is preferred.

Primary Level Salary Range: $86,600.00 - $130,000.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $107,800.00 - $161,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
