Northrop Grumman, Western Region Manufacturing and Operations has an opening for a **Manufacturing Analyst/Principal Manufacturing Analyst (Level 2 or 3)**to join our team of highly qualified and diverse individuals. This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA.
The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable communicating with multiple levels of leadership. They will work in a team environment, be comfortable with presenting data, be able to perform complex professional tasks, have excellent problem-solving abilities to develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity, and be comfortable working with minimal supervision and guidance. The selected candidate must understand the importance of using discretion, latitude, and must have high integrity.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

Work with Tooling Management and various stakeholders to identify communication, usability, and design goals for the internal Share Point site.
-
Coordination with cross functional teams across multiple organization including Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering and Business Management to ensure effective communication and coordination.

Assist with technical administrative tasks, including but not limited to, staff meetings, employee engagement support, as well as any additional responsibilities as needed
-
Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment.

Performs activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production planning and control, total quality management, systems, manufacturing, tooling, and maintenance
-
The incumbent may facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal and external customers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.

Incumbents are generally experienced in one or more areas of manufacturing operations.

Proactive forecasting and management of risks, issues, or opportunities relating to cost and schedule performance

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications (Level 2):
-
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required, plus 5 years of related experience in financial planning and/or budget development and/or analysis and/or plant controller and/or cost analysis.

Experience in a manufacturing or Tooling environment.
-
Experience working with Management to establish baselines for cost, schedule, and scope, and track actual performance against those measures
-
Ability to work within MS applications i.e., MS Word, (report writing) Excel (with the ability to create, edit, log and track data in spreadsheets), MS PowerPoint (ability to create, edit and present information).

Must have active SCI clearance at time of application.Basic Qualifications (Level 3):

Experience tracking financials and updating cost analysis records

Experience in an engineering or aerospace environment

Experience using Manufacturing Execution System (MES)

Project management experience

Proficient in Excel

EVM Experience
Primary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
