Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking an Intern to join the International Business Area of the RQ-4 Global Hawk Program in Rancho Bernardo CA.
The International Business Area of Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Program Integration Intern to join a diverse organization of project integrators within the Program Management Office. This intern will work side by side with the Program Management Office on program reporting, metrics generation, proposal facilitation and special projects. This individual should possess strong interpersonal skills, organization abilities and be a motivated, flexible team player.
As an intern, you’ll participate in a summer internship program to develop competencies in a variety of specializations that may include:

Gathering, collecting, recording, tracking and being able to verify data and information from multiple sources.
-
Compiling, reviewing, and analyzing data.
-
Programmatic operations and integration tasks directly supporting the Program Office in day-to-day execution.
-
Liaison between program management, business area functions, and integrated product teams.
-
Preparing status reports and presentations for NGC internal and customer meetings.
-
Assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
-
Supporting proposal processes across the programs, tracking to meet deadlines and managing proposal budgets and schedules.
Basic Qualifications
A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL the below criteria. The candidate must:
-
Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND will be enrolled full time in Fall 2026.
-
Be majoring in Business Administration, Project Management, Finance, Economics, or a related degree.
-
Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2026.
-
Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher.
-
Previous internship/co-op experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular).
-
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or similar.
-
Proven success managing multiple projects simultaneously.
-
Be a dynamic self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to function independently.
-
Strong written and verbal communication, including presentation skills.
Intern Pay Range
-
Undergraduate Degrees (Including graduating students planning on attending/enrolled in a full-time Master’s program): $23.00 to $28.00 per hour
-
Master’s: $33.50 to $35.25 per hour

Primary Level Salary Range: $1.00 - $1.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
