Description

As the Senior Subcontracts Specialist you will work to deliver optimal sourcing and subcontract management outcomes, conducting complex sourcing activities, developing tender packages including drafting of appropriate terms and conditions, evaluation, negotiation, award and management of assigned subcontracts. As the SME in your field you will provide expert guidance and counsel to NGA senior leaders and others regarding procurement and subcontract matters, formulating strategies aligned with the relevant program.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will provide:

• Tertiary qualification in Business and/or Law

• Experience in a Senior Subcontract role or similar commercial role in Aerospace and Defence Industry

• Knowledge with export controlled and security regulations

• Proven commercial acumen with subcontract drafting experience and exposure to contract law

• Knowledge of the flow down of ASDEFCON suite of contract documents
