Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst level 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located at Roy, UT to support the Sentinel (GBSD) Program in the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) Division. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.
This is a fast-paced high energy environment that requires a self-motivated employee to join the team. The ideal candidate will possess the following traits and abilities: ability to use financial systems, with understanding of EVMS principles and hands on cost performance reporting/analysis skills; develop and implement solutions of moderate scope and complexity; analyze variances/trends and develop new methods and process techniques; work under very general supervision while completing numerous assignments per schedule and elevating potential issues to ensure proper management focus; exert some influence on peers and internal customers; good interpersonal skills while representing the group on special projects outside of own group.
Roles and Responsibilities
Interface with the program managers, functional management, and cost account managers (CAMs) to provide financial and administrative support and analysis to meet program requirements
Apply Earned Value and performance measurement baseline concepts to multiple contracts for control accounts within an engineering Integrated Product Team (IPT)
Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks include: establishment of Work Breakdown Structure for execution of budgeted cost of work scheduled, assessment and maintenance of objective performance criteria, maintenance and justifications of estimates to complete, and support to internal and external reporting requirements for variance analysis.
Funding analysis, cost risk analysis/assessment and visibility report
Preparation or review of government cost performance reports, performance measurement variance analysis, and of estimates to complete
Support the development of budget baselines and maintain cost/schedule integration
Support preparation of budgets, schedules, and ETC/EAC
Perform and/or assist in financial performance analyses and visibility
Setup, monitoring, and controlling program costs and schedules
Performing analyses and preparing reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters
Preparing budgets and schedules for contract work
Incorporating contracts changes into control systems
Estimate and completion and forecast related activities
Performing miscellaneous financial analysis as required
Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in Business, Finance, Accounting, Cost Accounting, Aerospace and Defense, or related professional experience; a Master's degree with 1 year; or 6 years with a HS Diploma (or equivalent) may be accepted in lieu of degree
Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S.
Government DoD Secret security clearance:
Requires experience with MS Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI
Requires experience with an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) tool, Business Intelligence and Analytics tool, Project Management and Planning tool and/or Collaboration and Integration tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Active DoD Secret level security clearance
Experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Program Cost Analysis or Program Scheduling
Aerospace/Defense Industry experience:
Experience with material cost management
Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience
Experience working in Deltek Cobra:
Strong PC Skills:
Strong analytical ability
Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent problem solving and organizational skills

This position's standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
#Sentinel Bus Mgmt
Primary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
