Northrop Grumman is seeking experienced and motivated professionals for the role of a Senior Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist with experience in supply chain management, or related fields, to include business and financial planning, contracts administration, project management, logistics, or manufacturing. The successful applicant will become a part of Northrop Grumman’s Mission Systems Sector supporting the G/ATOR production programs in the Advanced Land Sensors OU and work in in our Baltimore, MD facility.

Roles and responsibilities include:

• Manage on time req release, PO placements, and PO delivery dates to maintain program schedule.
• Manage material budget for contract requirements. Support baselining/EVMS requirements.
• Manage/report and forecast material cost/performance of assigned program(s).
• Act as CAM to support Program PLATO/CEAC/EAC activities.
• Identify and manage program risks and opportunities as they pertain to material requirements.
• Analyze lead times and identify critical path procurements.
• Monitor and address supplier capacity and/or production issues.
• Maintain strong business acumen and ability to operate in a fast-paced production environment that consists of leading-edge technology suppliers.
• Support Program proposal activities (BOE creation, CBOM review, etc)
• Support development of supply chain strategy – including supplier development and supplier risk management, which may include development of secondary sources.
• Liaison for assigned program(s) and supply chain management function including buyers, planners, subcontract administrators, scheduling, customers and suppliers, etc.
• Represent GSC in Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and leadership briefings (internal/external).

Basic Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of supply chain and/or material inventory management, shipping and logistics, or supplier management experience. OR a master's degree and a minimum of 6 years of supply chain and/or material inventory management, shipping and logistics, or supplier management experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience as a Supply Chain Planning Specialist
• Experience with proposals
• Material CAM experience (EVMS, IMS, Baselining, forecasting)
• US Citizenship
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with proposals tools: ZRPIs, BOEs, and QUEST runs
• Development program execution
• Shop order launch experience
• Non-MRP procurement experience

Primary Level Salary Range: $112,200.00 - $168,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
