We are looking for you to join our team as a Project Management/EVMS Analyst based out of San Diego, CA.

You will support the San Diego campus, Navigation, Intelligence & Connectivity (BU). This BU creates the next generation of communications and signal processing systems. We take ideas from concept to working systems aboard the world's most advanced platforms right here in San Diego. We design in our campus of labs and on-site advanced manufacturing just minutes from the beach and everything for which southern California is famous. What You'll Get to Do:

• Supports the oversight and management of the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management
• Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports
• Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
• Develops and maintains mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients
• Review weekly reports for erroneous charging, open and close charge numbers, generate work authorization files, work with business management personnel on investigation of issues, writes variance reports, support ETC updates, and preparing weekly/monthly inputs
• Participate in weekly meetings with ability to communicate issues and needs
• Generating initial Quantifiable Backup Data (QBDs) from Schedule information, working with technical leads to document lower level QBD status
• Maintaining QBDs with current status and transferring status information across multiple files
• Supporting internal EVMS Surveillance Reviews to ensure compliance to the 32 guidelines
  Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with a minimum of 5 years of related experience or a Master's Degree with related experience
• Experience in program/project planning and scheduling, logistics or supply chain
• Experience with EVMS and Schedule Management skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Project, PowerPoint, and Excel (creating formulas, and pivot tables)
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Clearance is required
• US citizenship required
  Preferred Qualifications:
• Aerospace/Defense Industry experience
• Ability to read and extract information for an IMS schedule
• Experience with Jira or PowerShell scripts
• The ability to obtain and maintain a Special Access Program clearance is desired

  Primary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
