Senior Analyst, Investment Research & Analytics Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the review and analysis of investment data on external investment managers to formulate recommendations for program managers and clients. They will assist in the selection, evaluation/ monitoring, and replacement of external investment managers. The role directly supports portfolio managers and involves handling large volumes of investment data where accuracy, judgment, and the ability to spot discrepancies are critical.

Major Duties

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of frameworks that support effective upstream and downstream data flow.

  • Gather, analyze, and present investment insights to the Investment Committee and research teams.

  • Apply and validate appropriate models and methodologies for performance and risk analysis.

  • Ensure high standards of accuracy, consistency, and clarity in all reports and analytical outputs.

  • Identify potential process risks and support the implementation of appropriate control checks and mitigations.

  • Work closely with the research team to understand analytical requirements, constraints, and process limitations.

  • Evaluate complex ad‑hoc requests and support coordinated execution within the team, in alignment with agreed priorities.

  • Analyze data and reports to identify trends, anomalies, and insights, and communicate value‑adding observations to the investment team.

  • Support the assessment and implementation of process changes to ensure alignment with risk, compliance, and governance standards.

  • Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives and the development of scalable analytical solutions.

  • Develop strong domain knowledge across business units, functions, and processes, and contribute to knowledge‑sharing and training activities across onshore and offshore teams.

  • Balance hands‑on analytical execution with supporting the broader objectives and strategic direction of the business function.

Knowledge/Skills

  • For internal applications - 24 months as Analyst(currently P1)

  • Strong understanding of equity and fixed income products and related market terminology.

  • Working knowledge of quantitative fund statistics and core risk concepts.

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), including experience with macros/VBA.

  • Exposure to Python, Power BI, and Power BI DAX is an added advantage.

  • Prior experience with investment and analytics platforms such as Fact Set, e Vestment, Morningstar, and Bloomberg is preferred.

  • Strong analytical capability with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant industry experience, preferably within Multi‑Manager and/or Multi‑Asset investment businesses.
