Major Duties:
1. Seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and business knowledge and functional expertise (e.g. tax, regulatory)
2. Review of monthly fund and business entity closing summaries or other client data as applicable.
3. Report and analyze financial data to be disseminated to our clients and their investors.
4. Close monthly books and records of the funds to general final performance figures as applicable.
5. Interact with clients and other Hedge Fund Services teams to obtain understanding of funds¿ activities.
6. Prepare financial statements for funds as applicable.
7. Work directly with external auditors to ensure accuracy of each fund¿s annual financial statements as applicable.
8. Focus of role is on execution of strategic direction of business function activities.
9. Carries out complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues.
10. Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity.
Knowledge:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
- In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge is required
- Highly flexible and adaptable to change
- Technical skills / systems knowledge is required
Experience:
- A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is preferred. Related Industry qualification (e.g. ACCA) is preferred
Salary Range:
$83,100 - 141,300 USD
Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
