Major Duties :

1. Implementation of new operational procedures following changes in tax policy or law

2. Validation of client tax status and eligibility for tax relief

3. Preparation and submission of tax reclaim application to tax authorities or

sub custodians.

1. Reconciliation of tax reclaim status

2. Handling client and tax authority technical queries

3. Carries out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact

4. May have direct interaction with committees and/or Senior Management

5. May manage daily operational activities and supervise day-to-day work of junior level employees (but not a formal management role)

6. Technically sound in area of expertise and has broader knowledge of other areas

7. Delivers a work product that requires less revision

8. Able to facilitate discussions and reach decisions

Knowledge :

• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
• Functional / Industry Knowledge is required
• Analytical and problem solving skills are required
• Knowledge of International tax reclaims markets and Tax documentation
• Knowledge of Global Custody & Fund structures
• Knowledge of Process Management & Operational Risk mitigation

Experience:

• A College or University degree and/or some relevant work experience is required
• Experience in Tax services in Global Custody or a Tax Utility is preferred
• Experience of dealing with Tax Authorities is preferred
