Role Summary

The Product Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the Portfolio Advisory business by delivering high‑quality product, transaction, and client-related analysis. This role partners closely with investment sales, advisory, and client-facing teams to ensure accurate execution, timely communication, and strong operational support across complex client portfolios.

The position requires strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and the ability to manage multiple deliverables across global stakeholders while maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter resource for Portfolio Advisory products, structures, and workflows.

  • Prepare, review, and distribute recurring and ad hoc product-related competitive insights, and communicate to internal stakeholders.

  • Support client-centric, consultative portfolio analysis activity including asset allocation and product fulfillment through to ideas around portfolio implementation

  • Partner with sales and distribution, marketing, investments, product and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of client deli

  • Proactively identify data gaps, inconsistencies, or process risks and escalate appropriately.

  • Maintain strong documentation standards to support audit, compliance, and governance requirements.

  • Contribute to process improvements by identifying inefficiencies, standardizing outputs, and sharing best practices.

  • Support ongoing business initiatives and strategic priorities aligned with Portfolio Advisory objectives.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of investment products and portfolio advisory concepts.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration capabilities.

  • High level of accountability, ownership, and follow-through.

  • Proficient in working with structured data, reporting tools, and documentation standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Prior experience in investment management, portfolio advisory, or financial services support roles preferred.

  • Experience working with global teams and stakeholders is a strong advantage.

  • Experience with investment analytical tools (Bloomberg, Morningstar, Fact Set, Aladdin, etc.) preferred.
