Manager - Operations Process Training - East Coast Fulfillment Center
Job Description Schedule:
Tuesday-Friday Midshift (Weekday Flex Schedule)
The Operations Process Training Manager is a seasoned leader with several years of experience leading and developing teams in support of the business strategy in processes, policies, and procedures. The Operations Process Training Manager is responsible to deliver on overall training program executions, driving results through coaching, performance management, and monitoring results. This role will meet financial standards by providing annual budget information, monitoring expenditures, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions.
In this role you will work closely with operations managers and your team of trainers to onboard, develop, and maintain skills and processes amongst current and new team members. You will aid in the activation of all new or updated processes. This will be accomplished through building high performing teams and through ensuring all aspects of the training program are executed.
A Day in the Life…
- Drive results:
Support the business strategy or driving results for overall safety, quality, and performance.
- Build Teams:
Lead, develop, and grow the performance of a team of trainers.
- Collaborate with business partners:
Collaborate closely with operations and human resource leadership to maintain a focus on top business objectives and initiatives as well as to escalate key status updates.
- Guide progress:
Ensure milestones and program methods and practices are being met. Where there are gaps, effectively highlight concerns, impact, and potential solutions.

Drive professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies

Own process improvement efforts through problem-solving, project management, and continuous improvement methodologies

Drive KPI metrics as well as 4DX and facility performance scorecards.
You own this if you...

3-5 years of warehouse experience in a managerial role, training role or equivalent relevant experience
-
Proven capability in identifying and implementing CI actions that deliver measurable improvements to cost, service and quality

Demonstrated capabilities in developing others and growing leadership competencies in their direct reports

Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
-
Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
-
Ability to analyze data and determine actions based on improvement opportunities

Strong partnership and relationship development skills
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-
Ability to navigate through ambiguity

$59,000.00 - $98,000.00 Annual
This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment. Interview attire - what do I wear?
I applied and have an interview to a local university. I was really surprised because as a DO and graduate of a not prestigious residency I didn't really think I would be considered.
