The ideal Assistant Beauty Manager is skilled at using directive selling, sets and achieves sales goals and is committed to providing an exceptional customer experience.

A day in the life…

• Use directive selling to meet or exceed sales goals

• Build personal trade by developing and maintaining relationships with customers

• Assist the Department Manager in achieving department volume and productivity goals by developing and executing a business plan

• Coach salespeople to meet or exceed their Sell More, Make More goals and deliver outstanding customer service by teaching, coaching and leading by example

• Act as a fashion role model and product knowledge expert for the customer

• Work with the Department Manager to ensure merchandising and presentation standards are met and accurate inventory management is achieved

You own this if you have…

• A track record of successful results, for example, strong productivity, personal trade, etc.

• Directive selling techniques that help you to set and achieve sales goals

• The ability to use key metrics, such as hot sellers, top vendors, etc., to identify opportunities and drive volume

• Strong organizational and follow-through skills

• The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

• A high school diploma, or equivalent (preferred)

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations.
Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$37,500.00 - $60,000.00 Annual

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment. At Nordstrom, the commission most selling employees receive varies based on the merchandise they sell. Apparel, shoes, and accessories sales typically range from 3% to 14.5%. The commission Beauty and Men’s Fragrance sales roles typically receive is 3%.
