As a Business Development Manager, you will be a key part of the Mission Critical Segment in IP Networks, working closely with an experienced and knowledgeable team. Your primary focus will be on identifying and influencing business opportunities for Nokia's IP/MPLS solutions, bringing fresh ideas and strategies to the table. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the company's growth and success in the Japan market.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably in the telecom industry.
- Proven track record of successful business development and deal closure.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with market research and analysis tools.
- Knowledge of IP/MPLS technologies and solutions is highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel as required for business development activities.
- Work closely with Sales and IP cross-functional teams to identify and qualify business opportunities.
- Develop and execute business development strategies for the Mission Critical Segment in Japan.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and potential new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to ensure solutions meet customer needs.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities and progress.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities, offering insights to the team.
- Support the team in achieving business goals and contributing to the overall success of the segment.
