You will be part of a new team in MN RAN R&D BB Unit responsible for developing assigned piece of SW to meet the expected Definition of Done for Cloud RAN applications. We are looking for a skilled DevOps engineer. You would be working with specifying, designing, implementation and testing software on DevOps (CI/CD/SCM).

If:

• You have experience in SW development/ Testing on DevOps (CI/CD/SCM)
• You understand the significance of good SW practices for high quality SW
• You have strong experience in C++ or Python: development and testing
• You have strong experience with common CI/CD related tools, including Git/Gerrit, Jenkins, Absolute, Docker, Kubernetes, Get Ops, etc.

We also appreciate the following:

• Knowledge the benefits of agile SW development and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery practices
• Experience of scripting/coding with one or more languages (such as Python)
• Understanding of the cloud runtime environments
• Understanding of Telecommunication architecture and requirements (E.g., 5G Radio Network)
• Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) cloud native characteristics including Kubernetes
• Knowledge of open-source software
• Knowledge of platform services and real-time systems

• Design, deploy, and maintain DevOps and CI/CD tools and infrastructure
• Automate build, integration, testing, and release processes
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of CI/CD platforms and labs
• Continuously improve pipelines, architectures, tools, and development processes
• Implement and integrate software features based on product backlogs and specifications
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and system tests to ensure SW/HW quality
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive quality improvements
• Collaborate with global software development teams and contribute to internal improvement initiatives
