As the IP Business Development Engineer for MEA IP Service Providers, you will play a pivotal role in driving our pre-sales activities across dedicated Iraq and key anchor accounts. You will leverage your strong technical IP background to identify market trends, proactively develop business opportunities, and collaborate with other pre-sale team members and sales teams to tailor offers that maximize win probabilities. Your work will involve crafting novel solutions and strategies, driving technical pre-sale engagements directly with customers, and influencing their decision-making processes. You will be supported by a dynamic, cross-functional team, lead technical experts and partner with sales professionals, ensuring a collaborative and innovative work environment. You have:
- Industry-recognized skills and knowledge of IP networking and service provider solutions within the Iraq market
- Demonstrated technical leadership and cross-team influencing in previous positions
- 10 + years of relevant experience in pre-sales, business development, or technical consulting.
- Proven experience in business case development and strategic planning processes.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to solve most complex problems and develop novel solutions.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with experience coordinating engagements and tailoring messaging to various organizational levels – both external and internal.
- Proven ability to deliver effective presentations and demonstrations to clients.
It would be nice if you also had:

Experience with data center collocation providers, or Webscale companies.

Lead pre-sale activities for the Iraq region, identifying business opportunities and driving proactive business development.

Drives strategic decisions in the technical area that affect the performance of the MEA IP Service Provider team.

Develop and lead complex technical offers and solutions, ensuring alignment with customer needs and maximizing win probability across RFI/RFP/tendering phases.

Lead technical pre-sale engagement with customers to understand their business requirements, providing senior expert consultancy on aligning Nokia’s solutions with their strategic goals.

Lead tendering processes and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and relationship building.

Analyze critical internal and external business issues, crafting novel solutions to customer requirements requiring sophisticated analysis and complex judgement to deliver novel solutions with competitive advantages.

Act as subject matter expert in MEA IP Service Provider team, influencing decisions within and outside the team and contributing to team expertise growth, product strategy and development, team pre-sale strategy and business growth. Foster and culture of continuous improvement within the team, embracing change, seeking personal and driving team development opportunities through new processes and mentoring.
