About the role

As the Service Now Product Owner, you will be accountable for defining and executing the product vision, roadmap, and governance of the Service Now platform across the enterprise. You will act as the owner for platform strategy, ensuring that Service Now delivers measurable business value, supports standardized ITSM processes, and enables future-ready capabilities such as CSDM adoption and AI-driven automation.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, architecture teams, and delivery organizations to prioritize demand, rationalize customizations, and drive the platform towards out-of-the-box (OOTB) best practices. This role is critical in ensuring platform scalability, data integrity (CMDB), and seamless integration across the IT ecosystem.

Operating in a global and cross-functional environment, you will balance strategic vision with execution discipline—enabling innovation while ensuring governance, stability, and operational excellence.

You have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 15+ years of experience in IT / Telecom, with significant exposure to Service Now platform
  • Proven experience as a Service Now Product Owner / Platform Owner / Lead Architect in large enterprises
  • Strong understanding of ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and CSDM frameworks
  • Experience in platform governance, roadmap planning, and demand prioritization
  • Proficiency in Service Now configuration, scripting, and integrations
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional, global teams and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Preferred:

  • Experience in driving platform standardization and OOTB transformation programs
  • Exposure to AI, automation, and digital workflow enablement within Service Now
  • Experience with Performance Analytics, Reporting, and value tracking frameworks
  • Service Now certifications
  • ITIL v4 certification
  • Define and own the Service Now product strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with enterprise digital and IT priorities
  • Drive demand prioritization and backlog management, optimizing delivery based on business value, risk, and strategic objectives
  • Champion adoption of out-of-the-box (OOTB) capabilities, reducing customization and minimizing technical debt
  • Establish and enforce platform governance, design standards, and architectural guardrails
  • Lead platform rationalization and standardization across ITSM, ITOM, and related service domains
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of Service Now enhancements, releases, and platform capabilities
  • Act as the primary interface between business, IT, and delivery teams, ensuring alignment and execution clarity
  • Engage senior stakeholders to align priorities, drive decision-making, and articulate platform value
  • Drive continuous improvement using feedback, analytics, and usage insights
  • Enable effective cross-functional collaboration across internal teams, ecosystem partners, and vendors
  • Drive adoption of automation, AI-driven use cases, and intelligent workflows on the platform
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging capabilities (e.g., ITOM, AIOps, workflow automation) to enhance platform value
  • Support and enable enterprise-wide transformation initiatives leveraging the Service Now platform
